From 21 June document checks for any new employees should be done in person. Virtual checks should stop and there's no need for retrospective checks to be carried out for those who were checked between 30 March 2020 and 20 June 2021.

EU Settlement Scheme closing 30 June 2021

The EU Settlement Scheme closes on 30 June.

The Scheme is open for EU, EEA or Swiss employees and their families to apply for Settled Status so they can carry on living, working, and studying here.

Email hrhelpdesk@falkirk.gov.uk if you need help with your application.

Once you have received confirmation of your settled status, let your line manager know as this information will be held confidentially in your employee record.
