The First Minister has confirmed the vast majority of COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted in Scotland on 9 August when the country moves beyond level 0.

During her announcement yesterday (Tuesday, 3 August), Nicola Sturgeon advised the continuation of home-working where possible.

She also stressed it was vital any return to the office should be gradual.

What this means for you

If you work for a customer-facing team, your manager will contact you to explain any changes to your working arrangements.

For all other employees, nothing will change for the foreseeable future.

Next steps

Updated guidance on the return to the office is expected from the Scottish Government shortly.

This guidance will help inform work currently being undertaken to prioritise which buildings will reopen and when and what teams will be based in these offices.

We'll update you once this work is complete.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about your working arrangements, please speak to your manager.
