Children everywhere are gearing up for the spooky goings on off Halloween with stories of witches, ghouls and things that go bump in the night.

And Lynne Barrie, teacher and author has chosen the theme of Halloween for her second book which follows the story of two pumpkin brothers Paddy and Pete in The Pumpkin Patch!

Lynne who has been teaching at Langlees Primary School for ten years, published her first book in April 2021 about the special bond of two dinosaurs in Dottie and Dee.

Now her second book follows the journey of two pumpkin brothers who are waiting to fulfill their Halloween destiny. Will they be picked in time for Halloween?

Lynne said: “I’ve been an avid reader from the age of ten and I hope to instill a love and passion for  reading to every child I teach. The children have really enjoyed the Pumpkin Patch in class, especially with Halloween nearly upon us.”
