Refurbishment work to update office accommodation at Falkirk Stadium and Grangemouth Social Work Office is well underway.

The bright and modern workspaces will give employees - many relocating from buildings that have been identified as surplus to requirements in the Council’s Strategic Property Review - a greater opportunity to knowledge share as they will be under one roof, as well as hybrid working options.

The work at Falkirk Stadium is being carried out in two phases by contractors Hadden Construction:

  • Suite 1A is expected to be completed ready for a phased relocation of teams from Sealock House and Laurieston Social Work Office in January 2023.
  • Suite 1B will be ready in April to accommodate Social Work teams moving from Denny Town House.

Contractors Maxi Construction are expected to finish work on Grangemouth Social Work Office in the next few weeks with furniture and IT being installed early January.  Teams from Meadowbank Social Work Office, Sealock House, Denny Business Centre and the East Hub will start moving in around early February 2023.

The project team has started to brief managers on what can be expected in the refurbished buildings and what facilities will be available.

As the project progresses, more updates will be shared.
