Millions of pounds in grants is up for grabs in the local area every year.

And organisations providing this vital funding will come together under one roof at next week’s annual funding fayre. The event is jointly run by Falkirk Council and CVS Falkirk and will be held at Bowhouse Community Centre in Grangemouth. It runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Thursday 5 March.

It gives third sector, charity and voluntary organisations the opportunity to find out about the various grant schemes available in the local area.

Council leader Craig Martin said: “The funding fayre is a great opportunity for community groups in the area to find out more about the money available which could get projects up and running.

“I hope this year’s event is as successful as last year’s, which was attended by over 300 people.”

A wide range of funding organisations will be at the event, including:

  • The BIG Lottery
  • Sport Scotland
  • NHS Small Grants
  • Bank of Scotland
  • Falkirk Business Gateway

Anyone interested in attending must register at www.fundersfayre2015.eventbrite.co.uk. For more information on funding related support please contact CVS Falkirk on 01324 692000 or email info@cvsfalkirk.co.uk.
