Are you looking for a new career? Would you consider working with Falkirk Council as a home carer?

We have a range of opportunities requiring different skills, both part and full time, helping people in the community with everyday tasks that improve their lives. This includes supporting people to get dressed, preparing meals or other practical tasks. Some people also need some support with personal tasks such as showering and or bathing.

We are looking for people of any age, male and female. Life experience and approach to the job is more important than academic qualifications.

Typically a home carer will have a number of skills such as being honest, reliable, positive, patient and committed however most of all a home carer has to have integrity and to be caring for others.

Full training and professional support are offered along with the opportunity to contribute to a pension scheme. Necessary travel expenses will be reimbursed.
