Businesses across the Falkirk area can sign up for free to the latest tourism networking event taking place at the Bo’ness Hippodrome on Tuesday 20 November between 5:45pm and 8:45pm.

The event will bring tourism related businesses together and offers a chance to hear speakers from a wide range of background share their experiences as well as offer a chance to network with other businesses.

Speakers include Neil Christinson, the areas new regional director for Visit Scotland; Councillor Cecil Meiklejohn, Leader of Falkirk Council; Grant Turnbull, Director of Carr’s Hill &  Visit Falkirk Tourism Partnership and Liz McCutcheon of the new Digital Development Loan Fund.

Councillor Cecil Meiklejohn, Leader of Falkirk Council said: “The tourism networking events are very popular and can bring new opportunities to maximise opportunities for local businesses. We’re keen to see more businesses represented here as we want to ensure that our tourism businesses are aware of the support on offer and would encourage anyone to sign up for the evening’s event.”

The event will also feature a ‘meet the businesses slot’ where three local businesses introduce what they do and who they are looking to connect with.
