Free period products are now available at public locations throughout the Falkirk Council area.

The Our Falkirk online map can help people find where they can pick up sanitary products from 30 public buildings – as well as 20 Council buildings – no questions asked.

Lack of access to period products can result in people missing out on work and education. Now, with the help of Scottish Government funding, Falkirk Council is helping to reduce the stigma attached to this issue.

Fairer Falkirk Officer Anna Adamson explained: “The Our Falkirk map already helps our communities find out where they can receive additional support, such as free WIFI, advice and support and community food projects.

"Now with the addition of over 30 locations where period products are available, those that need them can easily find out where they are.”
