As part of the drive to make sure that anyone who needs period products can access them, a new easy to use online service has been launched – which will deliver products to your door.

While some of our usual pick-up points are temporarily closed, this new service will make sure you can still get access to the products you need.

To place an order, you must live in the Falkirk Council area and provide a Falkirk postcode for delivery.  A 3 month supply will be posted to your home address.  This may take up to three weeks to arrive so plan ahead and try to order in advance if possible.

Products available include:

  • Disposable sanitary pads
  • Tampons
  • Period pants

Alternatively, if you don’t have internet access call 0808 100 3161 to place an order.

Senior Fairer Falkirk Co-ordinator, Sally Buchanan, who’s leading this initiative said:

“For the first time period products are being delivered to home addresses completely free of charge.  Anyone, including employees, should place an order if they need them and I’d urge those working in local communities to share the information about how to sign up.”

Backed by funding from the Scottish Government, this new online service, compliments other initiatives already in place which include:

  • Our Falkirk online map shows where you can pick up free period products from 20 Council buildings as well as over 30 other public locations.
  • All schools stock free sanitary products.

In November 2020 Scotland became the first country in the world to make period products free to anyone who needs them.
