As a result of the public holiday on 19 September, recycling and waste collections were altered last week.

There remain a number of areas where collections are outstanding.

If your collection is scheduled for this week or is outstanding from last week, please leave your bins out until they’re serviced.

Blue, green, and brown collections will follow a revised collection schedule as per below.

Please put out containers for collection for 6:30 am per the revised schedule detailed below and on your updated collection calendar. Be aware that collection times may vary.

Food waste, black box and Absorbent Hygiene Products (AHP)

If you have a food waste, black box and AHP collection scheduled for Monday 19 September, please present it for collection from Tuesday 20 September. These containers will be collected between Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 September.

Collections scheduled for Tuesday 20 September, Wednesday 21 September, Thursday 22 September and Friday 23 September are not affected.

Missed bins

There are no changes to the reporting of missed bins. Recycling Centres Both recycling centres are closed on Monday 19 September. The recycling centres will follow normal opening times Tuesday 20 September. Please refer to the site opening times

Bulky uplifts

If you have a bulky uplift scheduled for Monday 19 September, please leave it out and it will be collected between Tuesday 20 and Friday 23 September. Please ensure your items are available for collection.

Bin deliveries

Bin deliveries scheduled for Monday 19 September will be completed by Tuesday 20 September.

Commercial waste

Commercial landfill bins will not be serviced on Monday 19 September. Please present them for collection from Tuesday 20 September and we will collect as soon as we can.

Commercial customer food waste collections will not be affected and taking place as scheduled.
