What is the EPRS
You can use this service to have your passport copied and certified if you are an EEA or Swiss national and have applied online for a document certifying permanent residence or a registration certificate or if you are an EEA/Non-EEA family member applying at the same time.
This service is provided by local authorities in partnership with the Home Office.
As a participating local authority we can photocopy your EEA or Swiss passport and those of any family members you have included in your application. We will forward a copy, along with your checklist, supporting documents and application form. Your passport will be returned to you at your appointment.
Making an appointment
This service is provided by appointment only. You must attend your appointment within 10 days of submitting your application online, in accordance with Home Office guidelines.
You and any family members you have included in your online application (over the age of 15 years 6 months at the point of applying) must attend the appointment in person.

What to bring to your appointment
Each applicant will need to bring:
- original passport(s)
- checklist and supporting documents
- printed copy of online application form
- 2 passport sized photographs with the person's name on the back
The fee for this service is £30 per person, which includes postage. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
There is a concession available to those on means tested income related state benefits.
