Playgroups provide an environment where children learn through play and having fun in a small group for a few hours each day.

Playgroups are voluntary organisations. They are supported by parents who taking turns to help at play sessions and participating in fundraising activities throughout the year.

Playgroups are registered with the Care Inspectorate. Staff are qualified, registered and have had background checks completed.

National Care Standards can help you decide about a service, they are the minimum standard required by law and services are scored against how well they meet the standards.
