Community growing
We want to make sure that anyone wishing to grow fruit, vegetables or flowers has an opportunity to do just that. Growing should be accessible, affordable and allow us to use urban spaces creatively.
We have developed a Community Food Growing Strategy to help you get your food growing projects off the ground. We're also supporting groups to grow shrubs and flowers in our parks and public spaces. Gardening is a good way of improving your health. It gets you moving and can help you relax and unwind; reducing stress levels and helping you feel better.

More help
If you'd like help and advice about a new or existing community growing project please get in touch with the Community Growing Officer:
The community food growing strategy explains how Falkirk Council and partners will support community growing across the Council area.
The strategy identifies land that could be used for community growing, explains the permissions groups must get and how they can go about obtaining these, how barriers can be overcome to get projects off the ground and the types of support available to both aspiring and experienced community growers.
