The publication of Falkirk Community Learning and Development (CLD) Plan was ratified by Falkirk Council's Executive Committee on 07 November 2024.

The 2024-2027 Plan meets the statutory requirements to:

• publish a 3-year plan  
• identify target individuals and groups 
• regard the needs of those target individuals and groups  
• assesses the degree to which those needs are already being met 
• identify barriers to the adequate and efficient provision of CLD 

Consultation was undertaken with representatives of the target individuals and groups, representative of persons providing CLD within the area. 

The 2024-2027 CLD Plan for Falkirk is focussing on the delivery areas of:

• Young people
• Adults
• Families
• Communities
• Joint co-ordination and planning
• Performance improvement
• Workforce development

The priorities and actions detailed in this Plan will be delivered across 2024-2027. During this time partners will engage with learners, communities, and service users to check that the priorities in the Plan continue to reflect need; and where necessary, to revise delivery actions for the remainder of the Plan period.
