Do not use social media to report emergencies, make complaints or request council services. 

We can check comments to make sure conversations stay respectful and safe. 

If a comment or post breaks these rules, we may remove it without warning. We may also limit, block or report accounts. 

In serious cases, we may report content to the police. 

Our moderation decisions are final. We will not discuss individual cases.

• False, misleading or harmful information 
• Disruptive behaviour intended to derail discussions 
• Illegal or inappropriate content, including breaches of copyright

What action we may take 

• Remove comments or posts 
• Restrict who can comment 
• Temporarily or permanently block accounts 
• Report accounts to the social media platform 
• Report serious issues to the police
