Falkirk Council has partnered with local funeral directors to help and support our communities during a difficult time. Our local Funeral Directors can offer a Dignified Funeral Service, providing families with a simple, dignified, and affordable funeral option.

Our funeral directors are committed to providing a caring and professional service, giving families reassurance and support when they need it most.

The Dignified Funeral Service is respectful and professional but still affordable and provides an alternative choice for your loved one.

The Dignified package includes:

Cremation

• Collection of the deceased from within 50 miles
• Storage, preservation and preparation of the deceased
• Provision of coffin
• Provision of place of rest and viewing facilities
• All administrative arrangements relating to the funeral and payment
• Provision of hearse
• Arrangements on the day of the funeral
• Order of service
• Collection box
• Music played during service at Crematorium

Direct Cremation

• Collection of the deceased from within 50 miles
• Storage, preservation and preparation of the deceased
• Provision of coffin
• Provision of place of rest and viewing facilities
• All administrative arrangements relating to the funeral and payment
• Provision of hearse
• Arrangements on the day of the funeral

Burial

• Collection of the deceased from within 50 miles
