If stress becomes too excessive and prolonged, mental and physical illness may develop. Stress occurs when a person perceives the demands of their work to be greater than their ability to cope.

This course will help you identify causes of stress within the organisation, consider the symptoms of stress and give examples of stress management techniques.

It will then move on to help you understand your management responsibility with work related stress and understand how to support your staff with this.
