Falkirk Council is working with Clackmannanshire Council to explore practical ways on how some services could be delivered together. 

This joint work - called Transformation through Collaboration - looks at how the two councils could share expertise, systems and processes to make better use of public money and protect local services in the years ahead. 

The work links directly to the Council’s financial sustainability goals and our Target Operating Model, which sets out how we can be a more focused and collaborative organisation. 

• Council has approved the Tranche 1: Proof of Concept projects to move to the design and development stage
• Work will get under way to create detailed business cases for each project (more info on projects in FAQs)
• Staff, Trade Unions and Members will be involved and kept informed as work progresses
• Updates will be shared regularly through the intranet and team briefings
