How to report someone sleeping rough

You can report rough sleeping online. Please give as much detail as you can, such as:

  • what you noticed (for example, weather concerns, if they appeared unwell)

You do not need to speak to the person or approach them.

  • visit the location as soon as possible
  • try to speak to the person safely
  • offer support, advice and accommodation
  • link them with health, welfare or specialist services as needed

We may not be able to update you about the outcome due to data protection laws, but every report is followed up.
