Book of Remembrance

Viewings of the Book of Remembrance at Falkirk Crematorium returned to normal in August 2021. No appointment will be necessary. The Chapel and Book of Remembrance is available:

  • Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm
  • Saturday 9am – 12pm

Given the small size of the chapel that houses the books, please keep a safe distance from other households. Face coverings are to be worn, unless exempt. Please use the QR code to register for Track and Trace.

Please contact the Bereavement Services Office if you have any questions. Our staff can greet you and ensure that the relevant book and page is open for you.

The Book of Remembrance can also be viewed online at anytime.

Falkirk Crematorium is located within Camelon Cemetery, Dorrator Road, Camelon.

Chapel of Remembrance

The Chapel of Remembrance is open every day of the year between the following hours:

Day Time
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm

Visiting hours for the public holidays of Christmas Day and 26 December, New Years Day and 02 January are published in the local press nearer the time.

Book of Remembrance

Inscriptions in the Book of Remembrance are on display within the Chapel throughout the year.

Chapel opening hours are:

Flower vases are provided if you'd like to bring along flowers.

Garden of Remembrance

The Garden of Remembrance is always open and you can lay cut flowers if you wish.
