Under One Roof is a registered charity set-up to provide free and impartial information to private flat owner-occupiers and landlords about common repairs, maintenance, and retrofit of tenement buildings. Their website includes information on all aspects of tenement buildings, including working with factors, the legal requirement for common building insurance, and how to chase missing funds from other owners.
They host informational webinars providing free and independent information to help address a range of issues affecting tenement owners in Scotland. Please see event information and recordings of past webinars.

Free Damp and Mould Webinar: 24 September 2026
Under One Roof, in conjunction with Falkirk Council, are hosting a free Damp and Mould Webinar on Thursday 24 September 2026, noon to 1pm.
Awaab's Law comes into force in Scotland on 06 October 2026. As part of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2025, the way that social and private landlords deal with damp and mould in their flats will change.
This free webinar is open to landlords and letting agents cross the Falkirk area. Find out how this new law will affect you and your tenants, and what you can do to prevent and treat damp and mould in your properties.
