MOT testing
All taxis must be checked and approved before they can be licensed for use in the Falkirk Council area. As part of this, a taxi MOT must be carried out by our Fleet Services department.

We can also carry out MOTs for members of the public. These will be charged at a commercial rate.
You can use MyFalkirk to book your MOT online. To do this you will need to have your vehicle details, and also your bank details.
