In addition to Falkirk schools meeting additional support needs and establishing specialist facilities, we have placed pupils in nearby schools in other local authorities. These placements support children to attend schools near to foster parents or other carers in:

• Fife
• North Lanarkshire
• Clackmannanshire
• Stirling

We has also placed children in Scotland's Grant-Aided Special schools or in independent provision. Usually, this provision is used when a child's social, emotional, communication and behavioural needs require integrated residential and education provision or involvement by the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration, for example:

• Royal Blind School
• Kibble Education and Care Centre
