The Scottish Vacant and Derelict Land Survey (SVDLS) is an annual survey undertaken to find out the extent and state of vacant and derelict land in Scotland and the amount of land that has been reclaimed.

The Register of Vacant and Derelict Land in the Falkirk Council area provides more detailed information on individual sites with a view to encouraging their re-use or development, in accordance with the Local Development Plan and other planning guidance.
