We have responsibility for installing traffic signs. Traffic signs serve many purposes such as directing traffic to destinations, including tourist attractions, controlling the direction of traffic and warning of hazards and restrictions.
The signs that may be used on the public road are controlled by government regulations, covering the designs of the signs, where they can be used and whether they must be illuminated.
Unauthorised signs
Unauthorised signs are potentially dangerous and will be removed. Uplift of unauthorised signs will be charged at the rates below:
