Free online and in-person community information sessions have been organised to give local groups a better understanding of Community Choices funding.

The Council’s Community Choices team will be on hand to provide you with all the information you need to know about applying for a Small Grant or Place-based Capital Grant and answer any questions.

The sessions also offer the opportunity to speak to other potential applicants, share information and work together for the benefit of your community.

Pop along to any in-person session or register to attend an online session at Participate+.

What is Community Choices?

Community Choices is the name of our participatory budgeting programme.  Through a public vote, participatory budgeting offers a democratic way for local residents to have a direct say in how public money can be used to address their priorities and invest in local, community led projects.
