Why do we collect this information?
The information is being collected for the following purposes:
- So we can provide you with free period products (orders fulfilled by our suppliers).
- To enable us to monitor, assess and improve the service provided.
- Where you consent to the collection of demographic information, to enable us to assess the reach of the service.

We have a legal duty to make free period products available to those who need to use them under the Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Act 2021.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect your name, address, contact details and postcode so that products can be sent directly to you. To check if you need to pay a fee for delivery, we also collect your National Insurance Number (if you receive Council Tax Reduction).
Where you consent, we also collect information about your age, gender, ethnicity, and any disability. This will be anonymised and used only for the purposes of assessing the reach of the service.
Where do we collect information from?
We collect information from you, when you complete our Period Product form on MyFalkirk.
Who might we share your information with?
We share your information with our suppliers so they can fulfil your order. We do not share your information with anyone else, unless we are required to do so by law.
We have a duty to protect public funds. We may check your information within the Council for verification purposes and/or for the prevention of fraud.
We may also share your information with other organisations where we are required to do so for the purposes of the prevention or detection of crime.
Will we send your information outwith the UK?
We will not send your information outwith the UK.
How long do we keep hold of your information?
We keep your information for twelve months.
Postcode and demographic information will be retained on an anonymised basis for a maximum of 6 years to enable us to monitor, assess and improve the service.
Do I have to provide my personal data to you?
You do not have to provide information to us, but we will not be able to provide you with products.
Do you use any automated processes to make decisions about me?
We do not use automated decision making processes.
