Housing Online gives you access to self-serve functions allowing you to:

  • update your contact details (including phone numbers and email)
  • update your personal details
  • access your rent account, rent statement, and rent transactions
  • complete a new housing application form
  • view and bid on properties you are eligible for on Homespot

You will also be able to view your tenancy details and access the services for rent payments and reporting repairs (if you have already registered for this).

Before you sign up for a Housing Online account, you must first have signed up for a myaccount through the mygovscot website.

If you do NOT have a myaccount, the New myaccount option details how to create an account.

If you do have an existing myaccount, the Existing myaccount option guides you through what you need to do.

If you are a joint tenant, please contact IHMS@falkirk.gov.uk and we will provide you with a person reference number which will enable you to register with Housing Online.

New myaccount

  • Complete the myaccount registration form.
  • A verification email will be sent to you - click the link in your verification email.
  • You will then be prompted to log in to your myaccount.
  • Once logged in, you will be presented with a page of terms and conditions. Once you have read the terms and conditions, tick the checkbox to confirm you have.
  • Then, click ACCEPT to proceed.
  • A consent page will open - click YES, TAKE ME THERE.
  • This will open the registration page for Housing Online.

Existing Falkirk Council Tenant or housing applicant

  • If you are an existing Falkirk Council tenant or housing applicant, select the Existing Applicants and Tenants – Register option, and complete the registration form.
  • Please note that you will need your payment reference number or person reference number to register.

New housing applicant

  • If you are a new applicant, select the New Client – Register option, and complete the registration form.
  • Please note that you will need to provide 5 years of address history in the address section.

  • Once you have completed the registration form, you will then be prompted to log in to Housing Online with your email address and password.
  • The registration process is now complete.
  • Existing myaccount

    • Log in to your myaccount with your username and password.
    • The registration page for Housing Online will open.
    • Existing Falkirk Council Tenant or housing applicant

      • If you are an existing Falkirk Council tenant or housing applicant, select the Existing Applicants and Tenants – Register option, and complete the registration form.
      • Please note that you will need your payment reference number or person reference number to register.

      New housing applicant

      • If you are a new applicant, select the New Client – Register option, and complete the registration form.
      • Please note that you will need to provide 5 years of address history in the address section.

    • Once you have completed the registration form, you will then be prompted to log in to Housing Online with your email address and password.
    • The registration process is now complete.

    Log in

    Once all of the above steps have been completed, you will be able to access Housing Online by logging in to your myaccount.
