We are pleased to re-introduce the Planning for Retirement online course, available to all employees.

This practical and informative session has been designed to help you take a positive and realistic approach to planning for a financially secure retirement.

The on-line session provides an overview of key considerations, supporting you to make informed decisions about your future.

It is suitable for employees at any stage of their career, whether retirement is approaching or you are beginning to think about longer-term financial planning.

The sessions are delivered as:

• A 2.5 hour daytime online session for all employees
• A 1.5 hour twilight online session for teaching staff delivered outwith teaching hours

• Understanding retirement income and taxation
• State Pension and workplace pension options
• Savings, investments and managing risk
• The impact of inflation over time
• Estate planning and inheritance tax
• Next steps and where to go for further guidance
