We carry out regular maintenance to keep the outside of our council houses in as good condition as possible.
The work we may carry out includes:
- Painting any previously painted surfaces, such as windows, doors and gutters
- Essential repairs to the outside of the house, such as doors, windows and gutters
- Roof checks
- Gutter cleaning
- Repairs to footpaths and fences
All properties are surveyed every five years to find out what work is needed. We will write to you before we start any work to let you know what work we plan to do.
However, if any other major improvements to your home are planned, we may carry out all the required work at the same time to minimise disruption to you. We would always tell you in advance if this was the case.
