Our childcare vouchers are provided by Bravo Benefits. For current members, if you need to change your amount you can do so at Smart Hive. Any changes must be done by the 5th of the month.

Effective from 01 December 2025, a £10 administration fee will apply when:

• Amending your childcare voucher amount
• Processing a refund (only applicable if leaving the scheme altogether and under exceptional circumstances)

This fee will be deducted from your monthly salary when the change is processed. For example, if you wish to amend your amount in December and again in January, there will be an admin charge for each change.

If you need to leave the scheme you can do this on your online account. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds from the scheme unless you are if leaving the scheme altogether and under exceptional circumstances.

You can use childcare vouchers for:

• Nannies
• Childminders
• Nurseries
• Pre-schools
• Day care
• Before and after school care
• Holiday schemes
• Sitter services
• Activity based care eg sports and drama coaching

Don't forget, if you are currently benefiting from the Council's Childcare Voucher Scheme but choose to switch to Tax Free Childcare (TFC), you will not be able to switch back to the Council's scheme at a later date.
