In person advice and support

At our Advice and Support Hubs, we can help if you don't know what support you can get, need advice on Council Tax or council rent, or need help to apply for council benefits and can't do it online.

Debt and budgeting advice 

If debts are building up or you're worried about falling behind, early debt and budgeting advice can make a big difference.

You can get:

  • help with personal budgeting support
  • advice on how to deal with your debts
  • help to review the money you have coming in and going out

Crisis Grants for urgent situations 

If you are facing an immediate crisis and your health or wellbeing is at risk, you may be able to receive a Crisis Grant through the Scottish Welfare Fund.

Crisis Grants do not need to be repaid and can help with urgent essentials such as:

  • Food
  • Heating
  • Electricity
  • Emergency living costs
