This is a large park within residential neighbourhood forming part of the wider Chapel Burn green corridor. The park slopes downwards from north to south towards the Chapel Burn. The park has an open character and comprises largely of mown grass, with some mixed woodland and scrub vegetation along the burn. A good, wide, lit hard surfaced footpath runs along the northern boundary, on higher ground. There is good visibility into the site from surrounding properties. At the eastern end there is a play area with woodchip safety surfacing, and a set of disused swings further to the west.
