If you want to hold a street collection or a house to house collection you need to have permission from us unless you have an exemption.

We keep a diary of all collections taking place throughout the year because we aim to prevent there being too many collections happening at the same time or place.

You must give us at least 3 months notice for a collection. You need to give us information about who will be collecting, where the collection will take place and when it will take place. We are able to provide dates for collections 2 years in advance.

If you have never held a collection in the Falkirk Council area, a copy of the your charity's constitution, names and address of office bearers and a copy of the previous 3 years accounts, and any other information on the charity must be provided.

You will have 4 weeks from the date of the collection to submit a return form detailing the amount raised.
