Chief Executive's holiday message 2025

CEO Kenneth Lawrie shares a short message to say thank you for the vital work employees do every day to keep services running, support people, and help communities stay connected.

Kenneth said:

Hi everyone,

As we head towards the holiday period, many of you will be looking forward to a well-earned break.

I want to take a moment to say thank you. The work you do every day is vital. You keep services running, support people who need us, and help our communities function and stay connected.

It has been a really demanding year. I know the months ahead will also bring challenges.

Throughout all of this, you have continued to show professionalism, care and commitment. That makes a real difference to people across the Falkirk area.

Our communities have faced many pressures this year, and at times those pressures have been very visible to all of us.

In that context, community cohesion matters more than ever. Much of what you do, often quietly and behind the scenes, helps to maintain that trust, fairness and respect in our communities, helping those that are most vulnerable, and have the greatest need for our support.

As an organisation, we have been clear about our values and the standards we expect. I want to thank you for upholding those values in your day-to-day work, even when it is not easy.

I also want to recognise those of you who will be working over the holiday period, ensuring essential services continue and people are supported when they need us most.

If you are able to take time off over the holidays, I hope you get a proper break and the chance to rest and recharge.

Thank you again for everything you do, and my very best wishes for the festive period and the year ahead.
