Several locations, including many that have been refurbished, have designated areas where you can choose to touchdown and hot desk.

That means you can drop in to these areas and work for as long as you need to in that space, making mobile and flexible working even easier.

Touchdown locations:

West Advice & Support Hub – Carronbank House

  • Carronbank Crescent, Denny, FK6 6GA.
  • Access the building via the rear entrance from the car park at the lower ground floor.
  • Staff should go up 1 flight (via stairs or lift) to the ground floor Hub reception area.
  • You’ll need to show your ID badge at reception.
  • There are 7 free desks/spaces with – 4 have single monitors and 3 with power points for laptops. These are located in the back office on the ground floor.
  • Kitchen facilities are available on the ground floor.
  • There is a breakout area within the kitchen.

East Advice & Support Hub

  • 5 York Lane, Grangemouth, FK3 8BD.
  • Entrance is to the rear via camera door entry system.
  • Once the buzzer is pressed a member of staff will physically open the door and meet you, as secure fobs are needed to access the building.
  • Show your ID to the person who answers the door.
  • There are 8 free desks with two screens located within the Hub back office on the ground floor.
  • Kitchen facilities are available within the Hub back office.
  • The ground floor meeting room is used by employees to eat lunch between 12 noon and 2pm.

The Forum

  • Callendar Business Park, Callendar Road, Falkirk, FK1 1XR.
  • Parking is limited. Please consider using alternative means of transport if looking to hot desk here.
  • Access the building via the main entrance. Suite 2 is along the corridor to the right of the main entrance.
  • Access is via an intercom system and you’ll need to present your ID badge.
  • There are 4 free desks with single monitors.
  • Kitchen facilities are available.
  • There is a breakout area within the kitchen.
  • Other high backed break-out areas are also available, these can be used if working from a laptop or for small, informal discussions.

Checklist

Remember:

  • Your ID badge – otherwise you won’t get access.
  • If you can, log into your desk phone or, alternatively, if you have a Council mobile phone remember to switch it on.
  • Leave your desks clean and clear for the next person.
