All employees of Falkirk Council and the Community Trust can now access MyView, our HR & Payroll portal, to view payslips, update personal information and much more.

Thanks to the hard work of the HR Systems & Payroll and Network & Infrastructure teams, everyone can log in to MyView using a personal or work device – including mobile phones.

From today (18 May), employees can log in to:

  • view payslips and P60s
  • update personal information/bank details
  • input and view expenses

MyView can be accessed from the link on the MyView Information page www.falkirk.gov.uk/myview or directly via https://fc4u.falkirk.gov.uk/.

For those who already access MyView on a work PC, laptop or tablet the only thing that’s changed is the fact you can now also login on a personal device.

Don’t have access? Sign up!

For those who haven't used MyView before, signing up is quick and easy. Simply send an email from your chosen email address to access-myview@falkirk.gov.uk confirming:

  • your name
  • employee number
  • national insurance number

A member of the HR Systems & Payroll team will then be in touch to verify your details. Once your account is activated you’ll be able to login whenever you want.

Safe and secure

Finding a way for all employees to access MyView has been a top priority of the Council of the Future’s Integrated Resource Management System project, with the project team confident everyone would be able to login by the end of the year.

Lockdown led to the project being fast-tracked as the HR Systems & Payroll team could no longer print and distribute around 3000 paper payslips. Employees and managers also needed an easy way to record absence and new ways of working as well as make and process claims quickly.

In a matter of weeks a wide range of checks and tests were undertaken to ensure the system was safe and secure before going live on the Council website.

Lisa Martin, Senior HR Systems & Payroll Officer, said: “Making MyView accessible to all was always a high priority but the pandemic really focussed our attention on making it happen. Now every employee and manager can login and access vital information and easily record a wide range of payroll and HR processes at the click of a button - and without the need for paperwork.”
