Some more office locations will be able to accept advance bookings for allocated desks from next week.   The following locations will be available to book a desk from Monday 16 August.

  • Municipal Buildings
  • Appointments Hub, Old Burgh Buildings
  • Carronbank House
  • Grangemouth Hub

All employees using these locations should make an advance booking for a desk.  The spaces are limited to those who:

  • cannot undertake a task from home 
  • have specific work purposes 
  • need support with their mental health/wellbeing 

Before booking a space, you should discuss your requirements with your manager.


Because your ID badge is programmed to let you into certain buildings, you can only book a desk in locations that you have previously had access to.   

Desks in the Appointments Hub can only be booked by those needing to meet customers in person. Your manager will have informed you if you can book a desk in this building. Access is via a front door buzzer entry system. 

Booking is simple. Visit the Desk Booking page on Inside Falkirk via your Falkirk Council device and once booked, you will receive a confirmation email.

Desks can be used by one person each day and are bookable up to four weeks in advance. There will still be a number of safe working practices to be followed while in the buildings.
